The SADC of Nicolet-Bécancour adheres to the definition of sustainable development presented by the Brundtland Report (1987): « Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. It requires economically efficient, socially equitable, and ecologically sustainable development »
For businesses and communities
Through its mission, the SADC integrates concrete objectives and actions into its strategic planning for businesses and communities aimed at raising awareness, training, support, and showcasing successful initiatives while providing economic levers to support innovative sustainable development initiatives.
