The SADC of Nicolet-Bécancour is currently looking for a business advisor.
Main responsibilities
- Target new business and funding opportunities.
- Meet with entrepreneurs as part of a financial assistance request, identify their needs and propose suitable financing solutions.
- Conduct the preliminary analysis of business projects
- Analyze the financial statements of businesses
- Draft recommendations and present them to the investment committee.
- Ensure follow-up on investment and support files.
- Advise promoters according to the life stage of the business (startup, expansion, succession, consolidation).
- Coordinate the services of the ABC of bookkeeping and the ABC of financial management.
- Work in collaboration with local partners to stimulate local entrepreneurship;
- Conduct representation activities with businesses and community partners to present the services of the SADC.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (finance option or equivalent) or in any other relevant related field (relevant experience may compensate for the degree).
- Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience as a business financing professional.
- Possess knowledge of business issues and their functions (planning, marketing, finance, human resources, sales, procurement, etc.) and be able to advise accordingly.
- Knowledge of sustainable development in business is an asset.
- Have a car.
- Possess good technological skills and practical knowledge of various digital tools for SMEs and the Office 365 suite.
- Know the territory served by the SADC of Nicolet-Bécancour.
Desired profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills and competencies in business development and financial statement analysis.
- Be autonomous, resourceful, and able to manage multiple files at once.
- Demonstrate skills that promote collaboration with the team and community partners.
Working conditions
- Full-time position, 35 hours/week (office closed Friday PM).
- Annual salary between $55,510 and $78,108 (based on experience and skills).
- Benefits program (RRSP, group insurance, quality of life leave, training).
- Remote work (2 days a week).
- Be available occasionally in the evening (about once a month).
