Green Strategy Fund

To accelerate the green transition of small businesses in the regions of Quebec by facilitating the adoption of eco-responsible practices or the implementation of clean technologies within businesses, such as optimizing energy efficiency or waste materials of SMEs or reducing their greenhouse gas emissions.

Personal loans

Minimum: 10,000$ / business
Maximum: 50,000$ / business


* According to the availability of funds and until the Green Strategy Fund is exhausted.

 

Interest holiday for the first 24 months.

Capital moratorium for the first 3 months.

Eligible sectors of activity:

Primary sector

 

  • Agriculture (traditional and emerging)
  • Fishing
  • Forestry


Retail trade and service businesses

  • Personal services (example: residence for the elderly)
  • Business services
  • Retail (examples: convenience store, stationery, etc.)

Manufacturing sector

 

  • Basic (examples: food, wood, printing, etc.)
  • Traditional (examples: textiles, clothing, metals, furniture, etc.)
  • Modern (examples: machinery, diverse industry, etc.)


Tertiary driving sector

 

  • Consulting engineering
  • Robotics and computing (examples: software design and manufacturing)
  • Recycling and environmental protection
  • Tourism

* No financial assistance will be granted to an individual or a small business for projects that offer or are likely to offer sexually explicit performances, products, or services exploiting sex.

* No financial assistance will be granted to an individual or a small business that does not comply with the environmental protection measures specific to the project, measures that meet the requirements of all competent regulatory bodies.
