From the tourism and museum industry. She began her career in a financial institution, dedicating the next two-thirds of her professional life to non-profit organizations and social economy enterprises. She started in the tourism sector and completed her career in the museum field. Humanist, authentic, bold, rigorous, and possessing a good business sense.
Her life philosophy? Everything is about balance.
She has 38 years of diverse management experience, including 15 years as an administrative assistant at a regional tourism organization and 23 years as the general director of a museum.
Relevant achievements: Successfully restarting an interpretation center, leading it to financial autonomy, and above all, getting it recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communications. This non-profit organization was categorized as a scientific museum among 32 others in Quebec and one of the 8 with a living collection. Upon her departure for a new retirement mission, she left a strong team ready for knowledge transfer.
Why mentoring for entrepreneurs?
People are a priority for Carole! Her new mission aims at transmitting knowledge and lived experiences, all with the unique goal of supporting and accompanying entrepreneurs in the development of their businesses and careers. Through active listening, she aims to establish a trust-based relationship to help develop their entrepreneurial skills and become proactive managers. “I have always been impressed by entrepreneurs and admire their tenacity, passion, and resilience.
