Offered since 2017 by the SADC of Nicolet-Bécancour, the PROAction sustainable development support has enabled more than 50 businesses and organizations in our territory to take concrete action!

The sustainable development team of the SADC has unique knowledge in sustainable recovery and green accounting, along with a deep understanding of the territory and the new challenges posed by climate change. Our team will assess your situation and work with you to find the best solutions to integrate environmental and social sensitivity into your business practices. There are many potential solutions, including the adoption of energy-efficient measures, the integration of sustainable development into management processes, and the optimization of your manufacturing processes.

The Process - Steps
- Introduction to sustainable development training (April 2022).
- Conducting a diagnosis and assessment in sustainable development (May 2022).
- Developing an action plan in sustainable development (September 2022).
- Access to specialized consultants based on your specific needs.
- Support towards the implementation of concrete actions (Fall 2022).
- Exchange meeting among cohort participants (September).
- Award gala – presentation of our certificate in sustainable development.
- Highlighting your commitment to sustainable development, actions, and outcomes (profile sheets, video capsules, publications on social media, etc.).
General Information
Duration: 9 months (from April 2022 to February 2023 – except July and August)
Registration Fee: $500
Target Audience: general management, owner, manager
Involvement: between 30h and 50h.
