Community and Sustainable Development
What is a sustainable community?
It is a living environment that meets the current and future social, economic, and environmental needs of residents. It also satisfies the needs of the community while minimizing environmental impacts. Sustainable development within communities means managing and utilizing cities while considering the repercussions that human activity can have on the natural environment and health. Socio-economic conditions, public finances, and quality of life must improve through decisions focused on sustainable development.
What are the characteristics of a sustainable community?
