Profile and professional background

Denis Cardinal is CPA CA. He has over 30 years of experience in auditing and consulting services. He has served a clientele of manufacturing companies, service businesses, private companies, and non-profit organizations. He worked for more than 20 years at the regional firm Verrier Paquin Hébert and then for over 10 years as a partner at the international accounting firm Deloitte. He was responsible for the Bécancour office from 1990 to 2019. He has led numerous audit teams and has carried out several assignments for SMEs, public and parapublic organizations.   

 

Why mentoring for entrepreneurs?   

"Native of the South Shore and involved since the beginning of my career in this environment both economically, such as the Chamber of Commerce, and socially through foundations in the fields of Education and Health, I have always had a passion for our people and our businesses. In this regard, I have actively participated in regional life throughout my professional career. I now want to get involved in a different way. I embrace the mission of the mentoring cell, which is to help entrepreneurs create collective wealth. Therefore, I wish to help our business people grow our region. "
